Commenced operations of Daibochi Packaging (Myanmar) Company Limited on 1 July 2017;

Daibochi Myanmar secured the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation as well as the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Food Safety Management System (HACCP FSMS) certification in October 2017;

Daibochi Myanmar successfully achieved its first export sales in December 2017 after securing approval from the Myanmar Investment Commission;

Winner of the Merit Award for Best AGM 2017 for companies with market capitalisation less than RM1 billion by Minority Shareholder Watchdog Group


Unveiled new company logo at the 45th AGM in June 2018;

Change of Company name to Daibochi Berhad in July 2018;

Daibochi Myanmar secured the ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management Systems in December 2018;

Received the Best in Transparency award in the RM500-RM950 million category at the Best Under Billion Awards 2018 by Focus Malaysia

Scientex Berhad (“Scientex”) acquired a 42.48% stake in Daibochi in February 2019.
Following the acquisition, Scientex had made a mandatory take-over offer (“Offer”) to acquire the remaining shares and warrants in Daibochi. The Offer was completed in early April 2019 by Scientex holding 61.89% stake in Daibochi.

Daibochi had on 3 May 2019 entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement to acquire Mega Printing & Packaging Sdn Bhd (“Mega”). Mega became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daibochi upon completion of acquisition of 5 August 2019.
